To add a new blank page or page break to your document, click Pages on the Insert tab, and then choose either Blank Page or Page Break. If you choose Page Break, all subsequent content after your insertion point will be moved onto the next page.

Add a page: In a word-processing document, a new page is automatically added as your typing reaches the end of a page. In a page layout document, you need to add a blank page manuallyclick the page that you want the new page to follow, then click the Add Page button in the toolbar.

To open Pages, click the Pages icon in the Dock, Launchpad or Applications folder. If the template chooser (shown below) doesnt appear, click New Document in the bottom-left corner of the dialogue. You can also hold down the Option key and choose File New (from the File menu at the top of your screen).

With the document open, choose File Save as Template (from the File menu at the top of your screen). Click an option: Add to Template Chooser: Type a name for the template, then click Choose. Save: Type a name for the template, then choose where you want to save it.

In the Document sidebar, click the Document tab at the top. Select a page orientation (portrait or landscape). You can use only one page orientation for your document. Pages doesnt support a mix of pages in portrait and landscape in the same document.

Create a basic word-processing document To open Pages, click the Pages icon in the Dock, Launchpad, or Application folder. Double-click one of the blank templates in the Basic category. Start typing. Choose File Save (from the File menu at the top of your screen), enter a name, choose a location, then click Save.

To convert to a page layout document from a word-processing document, open the document, choose File Convert to Page Layout, then click Convert.

Add pages in Pages on Mac In a word-processing document: Place the insertion point where you want a new page to appear, click. in the toolbar, then choose Insert Page Break. In a page layout document: Click anywhere in the page you want the new page to follow, then click. in the toolbar.
