Select the Start button, then select Settings Network internet , and on the right side, select Sharing options. Under Private, select Turn on Network discovery and Turn on file and printer sharing. Under All Networks, select Turn off password protected sharing.

Create a shared drive On your computer, go to drive.google.com. On the left, click Shared drives. At the top left, click New. Enter a name for the shared drive. Click Create.

Creating a file share Create a local folder on your server computer. Right click the folder, and then click Properties. Click the Sharing tab, and then click Share. Enter the name of your Windows user, and click Add. In the Permission level column, select Read/Write, then click Share.

Select the file you want to share. Tap Share or Share . Under General access, tap Change. Select Anyone with the link. To decide what role people will have with your file, select an option. Tap Copy link. Tap Back. Paste the link in an email or any place you want to share it.

To share a folder over a network in File Explorer, do the following: Right-click (or long-press) a file, and then select Show more options Give access to Specific people. Select a user on the network to share the file with or select Everyone to give all network users access to the file.

Create a Shared Folder in Windows 10 Log in to Windows 10 as a user with admin permissions and create a new folder. In the File Explorer, right click the folder and select: Give access to Specific people Use the drop-down menu to share the folder with Everyone.

Select and hold (or right-click) Start and select Computer Management. In the console tree, select System Tools Shared Folders Shares. Select and hold (or right-click) and select New Share. In Create A Shared Folder Wizard, select Next.
