Make your tailored opt-in page for SharePoint administrators

By using the new SharePoint admin center, you can change the owners for sites that use the new team site and communication site templates. You can also add and remove group members in the Microsoft 365 admin center.

Select the site you want to manage and the site details panel appears. In Settings tab, select Edit in the Restricted site access section. Select the Restrict SharePoint site access to only users in specified groups check box. Add or remove your security groups or Microsoft 365 groups and select Save.

Page layouts can be used by all page instances that are based on that page layout. Master pages can be used by all page instances in a site. Page instances based on the same page layout in different sites can use different master pages. For more information about master pages, see the ASP.NET Developer Center.

Here are steps: Click on the three dots next to the page name,click Manage Access Click Advanced Setting 3.To break permissions inheritance from the parent, select Stop Inheriting Permissions. Assign unique permissions (Grant selected colleagues permission and remove other user permission).

In the upper-right corner of the page, choose Settings, and then choose Design Manager. In Design Manager, in the left navigation pane, choose Edit Master Pages. Choose Create a minimal master page. In the Create a Master Page dialog box, enter a name for the master page, and then choose OK.

Once in edit mode, click on the Page tab in the ribbon at the top of the page. In the Page tab, click on the Share button. This will open the sharing settings for the page. In the sharing settings pane, enter the email address or username of the user you want to grant editor access to.

In Site Settings for the designated site, under the Look and Feel section, choose Master Page. If the Master Page link is not there, you need to enable the publishing feature with these steps. Navigate to Site Settings | Site Collection Administration | Site Collection Features.

On SharePoint site settings page and then click on Site collection administrators which is under Users and Permissions. This will open the Site Collection Administrators page, where you can see the Site Collection Administrators as well as add or remove SharePoint site collection administrators.

To manage permissions for the site, you need to add users to the Microsoft 365 Group membership and make them either the Owner or Member. This will give users access to the SharePoint Team site and other apps connected to it.
