A microsite can be described as an individual web page or a small cluster of pages function as a separate entity either within or to complement an existing website. The content is usually branded with a companyʼs name and logo but lives outside of that company homepage or URL.

Thanking your donors should be an ongoing part of your fundraising strategy. Now is the perfect time to build out your gratitude plan for the months ahead. The Rule of 7 suggests that your supporters should hear from you at least seven times a year to stay engaged and inspired to give again.

Best way to create a microsite is to use tools like Carrd, Webflow, or WordPress if you want something fast and customizable without coding. For full control, you can go custom with Next. js or Gatsby, and host on Vercel or Netlify. Done, keep it fast, focused, and mobile-friendly.

When planning the yearʼs activities, PTAs should use the 3-to-1 Rule: There should be at least three non-fundraising programs aimed at helping parents or children or advocating for school improvements, for every one fundraiser. 3-to-1 fundraising recognizes that your supporters want something in exchange for their cash. It works like this: For every single donation you receive from a major supporter, you should (1) thank them, (2) report on the results, and (3) provide an engagement offer before asking for another gift.
