Make your tailored subscription page for Pipeline engineers

A subscriber can use an API Management subscription key in one of two ways: Add the Ocp-Apim-Subscription-Key HTTP header to the request, passing the value of a valid subscription key. Include the subscription-key query parameter and a valid value in the URL.

Create a subscription to the topic Select the topic that you created in the previous section. On the Service Bus Topic page, select + Subscription on the toolbar. On the Create subscription page, follow these steps: Enter S1 for name of the subscription. Enter 3 for Max delivery count.

To configure Postman for API key authentications: Open Postman. Create a project folder under Collections. Select + to create a new collection and rename it to a name that defines your project. Select the new collection. Under the Authorization tab, select API key from the Type dropdown list. Select Save at top right.

A subscription key is in URI format and identifies something that can be notified. The format is unconstrained but should match the item it identifies. The subscription key indicates that the user is interested in that item and the items below it, which are items with a key that starts with the subscribed key.

Create a subscription Sign in to the Azure portal. Navigate to Subscriptions and then select Add. On the Create a subscription page, on the Basics tab, type a Subscription name. Select the Billing account where the new subscription gets created. Select the Billing profile where the subscription gets created.

1 Answer Locate your API Management instance in the Azure portal. Choose Subscriptions from the menu on the left. To add a new subscription, click Add subscription. Type a name for the subscription in the Add subscription dialogue box and choose the products or APIs you wish to include in the subscription.

If you dont have one, create a Microsoft account. Go to Azure DevOps and select Start free. Enter your account credentials and go through the sign-up process.
