Click on the Start menu in your taskbar. Select the Settings icon, indicated by a gear. Alternatively, you can use the Windows + I keyboard shortcut to reach this application quicker. Click on the Accounts tile.

Sign in to Microsoft 365 with your work or school account. Select Settings and customize Themes, Notifications, Password, Contact preferences and Dark Mode. To view your account information, select your profile photo, and then select View account. Make any needed changes to your settings, and then choose Save.

In the Settings window, click Accounts, and then click Family other users. Click the account you want to modify, to display your options. Then click Change account type. Click to view larger image. Any account can be an Administrator account. In the Account type list, click Administrator. Then click OK.

How to change Microsoft account in Windows 10 Open Windows Settings (Windows key + I). Then click Accounts and then click on Sign in with a local account instead.
