Glassmorphism inspired by frosted glass effects seen in macOS BigSur and Windows 11. It uses blurred transparency, soft shadows, and vivid background colors.

Neumorphism, a design trend that combines elements of skeuomorphism and flat design, is evolving in new ways. Neumorphism 2.0 brings a modern twist with soft shadows, layered effects, and gradients, giving web elements a sense of depth while maintaining a clean, minimalistic aesthetic.

The term neumorphism was coined by Jason Kelly in 2019 as a portmanteau of neo and skeuomorphism, emphasizing its role as a semi-revival of skeuomorphism. Many neumorphic design concepts can be traced to Alexander Plyuto, who created a mockup for a banking app showing various elements of neumorphic design.
