In this tutorial, we will learn to build a spinning blockhead using Blender, enhancing our foundational skills. We start by opening a general Blender file, beginning with the default cube, which we will keep throughout the tutorial due to its relevance in our project. We explore the default workspace and movement shortcuts, previously covered in the Blender configuration and shortcuts tutorial. Users can rotate the view around the cube using the middle mouse button and switch viewport settings to different modes, including rendered, shaded, and wireframe. Although we are currently in object mode, we will transition to other modes as we progress with the project, focusing on the blockhead design.
