Create your parallax job board website

You can create a staggered parallax effect by adding multiple layers of a background and foreground image which scroll at different speeds. An impressive example of this can be seen in ESPNʼs feature on baseball player Dock Ellis, where layered elements create a sense of depth.

To add a parallax effect: Go to the relevant page in your Editor. Click Site Design on the left side of the Editor. Hover over Page Background and click Customize. Click Settings on the background image preview. Select Parallax under Scroll Effects.

Parallax animation relies on an adequate distance between the 3D layers in z space. Starting with the top layer, press P and position it closer to you in z space (z 0), then press S and scale it back down to normal size. Position the background layer farther away in z space (z 0) and then scale it up.

To add a scroll effect: Click the strip in the Editor. Click the Background Scroll Effects icon . Select a scroll effect. (Optional) Preview your site to see the scroll effects in action.

With a parallax effect, the background should move, but more slowly than the content in front of it. Meanwhile, the reveal effect does absolutely nothing itʼs no different from the none setting.

Adding Video Background to a Page Click the relevant page in your mobile Editor. Click Background on the left of the mobile Editor. Click Video. Select a video in the Media Manager. Click Change Background. (Optional) Click Apply to Other Pages at the bottom to add this background to other pages of your mobile site.
