Make your locations page optimized for iMac

Click on Security and Privacy. Click the Lock in the lower left-hand corner and type your Mac login password in it. Under Location Services, check out the System Services option and click on Details. The details next to Significant locations will display the map and the history of your significant locations.

On your Mac, choose Apple menu System Settings, click Privacy Security in the sidebar, then click Location Services on the right. (You may need to scroll down.) Turn Location Services on or off for each app in the list on the right.

At the bottom of the Directions list, tap on Add Stop. In the Add Stop list, you can either type your destination or select a destination from your Favorites. Maps will add your selected location to the bottom of your Directions list and update your travel time ingly.

Significant Locations: Your iPhone and iCloud-connected devices will keep track of places you have recently been, as well as how often and when you visited them, in order to learn places that are significant to you. This data is end-to-end encrypted and cannot be read by Apple.

If youre driving: Plan a route with multiple stops. Click Add Stop and choose another location. Drag the Reorder button next to a location to rearrange stops.

Reduced accuracy of location-based services: Significant locations helps to improve the accuracy of location-based services such as Maps, Find My, and Siri. Turning off significant locations can make these services less accurate.
