Negative Keywords

Negative keywords (aka “negative match”) are used to narrow your ad targeting by excluding words that have nothing to do with the target you’re trying to attract. If you exclude the word “Free” from your targeting, a negative keyword match would occur when a prospect searches the word “Free” combined with your other keyword search terms. When that happens, your brand will be excluded from the search engine results page.
